I finally came to the conclusion why Wale’s album didnt do good..Its not good..lyrically yes. its amazing. but song choice wise it sucked. Think about…its has no theme if you listen to the songs its just like a bunch of songs thrown together. I mean did “pretty girls” really have any connection with a song like “contemplate” or did “90210” go with “chillin”? No. I mean some songs i dont even get what there about…example 1: Truimph… example 2: World Tour…Ill give someone 20 dollars if you can tell me what those songs are about. I mean think about every album usually has a theme. Kid Cudi’s: Emo Deppressing Story. Asher Roth: College Kid. J.Cole’s mixtape has a theme : A young black kid tryna make it in the world. I mean all im saying is that Wale better come with it his next album or he might get dropped by interscope and just become a mixtape rapper. God Forbid He Does.
